Good morning my friends, This is the day the Lord has made, and I Do rejoice and I am glad in it!
As you know, I’m not a professional blogger, so this is just a convenient way to share my thoughts with so many dear friends and family. Your outpouring of love, kindness, your encouragement, and your prayers continue to humble and uplift me.
Kim and I have had an unbelievably busy time since arriving on Sunday. I’m still in testing mode, so I don’t yet have a treatment plan. We do know the pathologists at MD Anderson (MDA) confirmed the diagnosis as Clear Cell endometrial cancer, they also confirmed the tissue from my hysterectomy 2 years ago did not contain cancer cells. For those that don’t know, clear cell is a rare and aggressive cancer type, and it is treatable with chemo therapy. We do have good news, the cancer appears to be an early find and the cancer lab markers that indicate the levels of cancer cells circulating in my blood are all normal. That is a very large praise report. I’m waiting on an appointment for genetic counseling and testing, and a nutrition counseling appointment. I will go back and meet with my oncology team later in the week.
I am reminded everywhere that I look that there is suffering, real suffering, in this world. There are people that are hurting physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I don’t have to go looking for needs, they are all around me. I am not suffering because I know the Jesus that suffered for me, I am not scared because I have the presence and power of the Holy Spirit living in me; comforting me, sustaining me, fighting for me. My prayer today is that God will lead me to someone that I can serve in their time of need. I am served so well by each of you!
1 Peter 3:8-9 tells us to have compassion for one another, to love as brothers, be tender hearted and courteous, and we are not to return evil for evil. May we all be more like Christ today, and seek out someone that needs to be served.
I am blessed to know and love you, and I have prayed that you will know and feel the comforting power of the presence of the Holy Spirit as you go out today. Much love💕

I hear indescribable PEACE in your writings. And I see that same peace and joy in the life you live. I am thankful to be a part of your circle and share life with you. As you have often repeated lately… be still. In the gentle and quiet moments of stillness this week particularly, God is ministering to your needs and to the needs of others through you. Much love to you, friend. Always in my prayers!

Thank you for sharing your journey. You and Kim are in our prayers. No surprise as you walk through this journey you were looking for who you could help along the way. The nurse in you is always present to provide support to others in any way you can. Love to you and Kim!
